Another closing in the books!

I really would like to give a shout out to Ashley Simpson of precision transaction services.

She was my transaction coordinator for this last transaction. She did a fantastic job of keeping everything on track.

The listing agent we work with Jeannie Collins at Summit properties was also impressed with Ashley's services.

If you need a great transaction coordinator, contact me and I will get Ashley's information over to you!

Writing an offer today

Today my clients and I will be writing an off on this beautiful cape cod style home in Oakland. It's a perfect fixer project for this flipper investor client.

A day in the life…

Yesterday Saturday at open house and for Sam Chiu in our office.

The house is a three bedroom 1 1/2 bath home San Leandro's Washington Manor district.very nicely maintained and offered at 489,000.

Today I'm getting a new tire on the van Pep Boys. Good year was close so he was able to get one of their tires. Had a flat tire last week and replaced the tire a good year. So down create a mismatch between Pep Boys and Goodyear on the front tires of the car.

I had a nice phone call in with my nephew Jacob Jones who will be moving into my Indiana house to fix it after my renters trashed it. Thank GOD I have a relative I can trust.

I need to order him a pressure washer at Lowe's so he can fix his trailer's roof and move out to Indiana. Which is a good thing because the house needs to be pressure washed every year after the winter.

We're working on a plan to get the property functioning as a bed-and-breakfast through airbnb as soon as possible to generate some income for them while there.

I'm working with my flipper investor client Christian in purchasing a property in Oakland's Oak Knoll area. This will  probably be a good project if we can get it!  We will call the listing agent and find out the amount of interest in it before writing an offer and will write an intelligent offer!

Two gorgeous homes to moor your dirigible

One home is possibly by famed architect W.R. Yelland.     1143 Keith Avenue listed by Norah Brower of Pacific Union.

I have studied his works for years and I would concur that this is his design style.  I am fortunate enough to have grown up in a home that was also possibly designed by W.R. Yelland.  When seeing the interior shots of Keith Ave and it's barrel vaulted living room ceiling it brings me instantly into the Yelland aesthetic.   The archway landing with an arched opening to the living room is reminiscent of his Mildred Cook home in San Leandro and possibly the Rindge Residence in Malibu.

The above photo is of our similar barrel vaulted living room ceiling in San Leandro.

The second home located at 2810 Webster Street and is designed by Walter W Dixon.  This home is perfect for entertaining and will make all your friends super jealous. This home is full of period details.  Time-travelling steampunk enthusiasts will love all the period details that are still intact in this beauty.  2810 Webster is listed by Bebe McRea of Grubb Co.
